I bought this TACH on Amazon for my Suzuki VS800GL so I could do a decent job of syncing my carbs. The TACH allowed me to tweak the carb adjustments at the RPMS I normally cruse at and the correct idle RPMS. Good price, splendid product and quick delivery.-Will-

Easy to bed in.The light is sharp enough pro nocturnal save pro not to sharp to blind you.I be inflicted with no perception how true it is, save pro it is much better than not anything.The mounting hardware is skilled and solid, I be inflicted with not experienced person and trembling issues or slippage.

I bought this on Amazon, but had to send it back because it was reading 500 RPM aptly out of the box. Emails to Powersports asking for info. on whether this would be a conundrum once I installed it, did not yield whatever business meaningful, so, I sent it back. I got a further, just so like it on Ebay for less. Now, fitment: I looked all over the web on which wires - everywhere -would allocate me to hook this up aptly on my bike. Everlastingly, I found a in tears meaningful. So all you bikers that have a 2007-2009 bar drive VT750C2 Shadow take note up. Run the blue, red and back wires into your headlight. In the headlight you will find an belt female connector with conservational, brown and blue wires inane to it-mine was taped to the headlight bulb connector. This connector is meant for additional in succession illumination, but will work for the tach. The hot on this connector is confined by a fuse. The red and blue wires both go to the brown wire-12V hot, switched. The black wire from the tach goes to the female connector conservational wire-the disturb a curfew. You'll have to connect an additional room to the conservational wire from the tach to get it to go to the coil below your tank. The conservational wire from the tach goes to the coil unenthusiastic-located aptly below the tank, aptly side-the side with the gearshift-you'll have to make a Y wire to hook into the coil and the conservational tach wire. BTW, the wire to the coil from the wiring use is golden-haired/blue-that is the unenthusiastic side. To make sure you have the aptly hot wire from the female connector in the headlight, use a volt/ohm measuring device. Mine was brown.Hope this helps someone. Eureka boy has pics on the installation on the Honda Shadow forum. This is not how to do it on your VT750C2.

Installed on a custom build; only so what I was looking for. Looks and facility as described; would hold ended again. Straightforward to bed in.

Arrived well packaged, on time, and in good order. Fits nicely on the handlebar of my 2012 Honda Rebel 250. Very useful for getting the correct idle rpm, and to avoid over-revving when riding. The wiring instructions could have been more detailed.

I recently purchased a 1999 Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad, as with all big cruisers of this era, Tachs were seldom built-in. Searched the Interwebs and shape don this product for it's lucks and price, and was not disappointed. unadorned 4 wire hook up, looks great. Took two ppl to get the handlebar clamp on was the only small issue we had.
