This works as a substitution for the OEM oil drain plug but I haven't had it long enough to note on its ability to collect/trap metal particles as advertised. - JP "byaaah!!!!!!"
Outfit not cut cleanly, had to use a thread file before I could install. On second planning I wish I had just blocked a strong flat magnet to the outside of the oil filter. Cheaper, nearer, more magnetic go up area. Urge hobby store.

I place of safeguard't check how greatly ferrous metal it will assemble, I shall reflect it over. I reflect it's a modest piece ended-priced, though, I couldn't discover a cheaper lone.

Bought 2 (one for engine drain plug and one for shaft drive drain plug). Both look good and seem high quality.Bought them as early warning devices for unwarranted (magnetic) notes in the engine/gear box oil and rear drive hypoid fluid on a motorcycle. (Also to reduce amount debris)Would buy again.
